I have a lifelong love of cats and I’ve been crocheting since I was 16.

I believe that we all have an innate right to live on this planet, without fear and with food, clear air and water, and shelter.

I don’t care who someone loves, what their skin color or how or who one worships. We are all one. We are all inhabitants of the same home – Earth. Anything that damages the family or the earth, I am against on principle. I also recognize each person’s right to make their own mistakes without interference or protection from consequences.

Money and time are man-made concepts. Money is replaceable, time is not. Your calamity is not worth my losing my serenity. This does not mean that I don’t care or won’t help. It just means that your life is yours and mine is mine. There is a line between us – called skin.

Organizations:

UNWA	United Nations Women’s Association is a group continuing the work of the 1998 and 2013 UN Conferences on Women. We track the state of the feminine all over the globe.
American Sewing Guild	As a member of the ASG, I take part in sew-ins, learn new ways to apply sewing as a craft and an art in my life.
CGOA	Crochet Guild of America. Did you know that crochet is the only home art that cannot be reproduced by machine? And that crochet takes three times the yarn as knitting? I’m proud to crochet. I’ll teach anyone who wants to learn. Crochet in the form of “Clones Lace” kept many families from starving through the potato famine in Ireland.
NaNoWriMo	NaNoWriMo – National Novel Writing Month – is a national or worldwide “write-in” for writers. It gets us writing every day, challenging ourselves to write. I belong to the Tennessee Elsewhere chapter.
The Monestary	I was ordained as a Universal Life Church Minister in 2014. I offer wedding services to couples in my area who have few other options.
