Here’s the video for checking in on Keto. I purposely wore the same outfit.
I did my measurements afterwards and found that I’d lost 2″ off my waist and hips, 3″ off my chest. I may not see a difference, but it’s there.
My stats for the month (My average diet so far):
|1 Month Averages:||K-Cal:
I know I’m not doing it perfect, and most of the “overages” happened in the early days. I had one day with 144g of carbs! BUT – and this is important, I’ve mostly been under 50g of carbs all month. As it creeped up, I noticed my FBS rising. I also had a big backlash after that high-carb day.
So, for all those who say I’ve been eating too much, get over yourselves! I’m proud of my progress.
I’ll be getting blood work done on the 10th, and I’ll weigh in then. I’m curious about my A1c level since my FBS has been so steady.
Since I was diagnosed with a Thyroid goiter, I’m also pursuing some testing around that to see if I need to supplement it. All the “standard” tests show normal, but that’s always the way it is until it fails completely. The website “Stop the Thyroid Madness” has been a godsend and I am using their list of suggested testing to research my own issues.
I’d also like to thank “Cooking Keto with Kristie” and Maya from “WholesomeYum.com” for their incredible work in making recipes easy to print off and use. That was the part that messed me up on my last website – the coding! OMG! So glad they were able to deal with it!
The Facebook group I’ve joined that is particularly supportive: Keto Low Carb Support & Recipes Group – Wholesome Yum
I wish you well on your journey!
